The NFL draft starts at 4 p.m. PT.
This is your place to discuss the Las Vegas Raiders’ Day 2 action.
Let’s have a great night.
More talent just came to the AFC West. The Denver Broncos traded up to No. 35 to take North Carolina running back Javonte Williams. Some folks think he’s the best running back in this class.
At No. 36, the Miami Dolphins took the first safety off the board, Oregon’s Jevon Holland. He’s from Oakland. Still, plenty of safeties loom with the Raiders picking at No. 48.
At No. 39, the Chicago Bears traded up to take Oklahoma State tackle Teven Jenkins, who a lot of people (me included) mocked to the Raiders at No. 17.
Raiders’ fans heart sinks. Richie Grant goes to the Atlanta Falcons at No. 40. TCU’s Trevon Moehrig is still out there. He was expected to the first safety taken. He will be the third, at best.
Raiders are on the clock at 43. Have a good night.
