The Las Vegas Raiders have begun the process of signing their 2021 draft class.
On Monday morning, the team announced it has signed both safety Tyree Gillespie and center Jimmy Morrissey.

Gillespie is a fourth-round pick from Missouri, and Morrissey is a seventh-round pick from Pittsburgh.
Gillespie has a chance to plays special teams and be a backup as a rookie. If he develops quickly and 2019 first-round pick Johnathan Abram continues to struggle, Gillespie could soon compete for a starting job at strong safety. The Raiders think he is a fit in new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley’s system.
Morrissey is an over-achiever type who has a chance to make the 53-man roster or develop on the practice squad.
UPDATE: The Raiders signed fifth-round pick, CB Nate Hobbs also.
The Raiders have four remaining draft picks to sign.
They are:
- First-round pick tackle Alex Leatherwood
- Second-round pick safety Trevon Moehrig
- Third-round pick pass rusher Malcolm Koonce
- Third-round pick, safety/linebacker Divine Deablo
Expect more rookie deals to be inked soon.
