Darren Waller is going back to school this summer and he will surely teach his fellow students a thing or two.
Waller — the Las Vegas Raiders’ star tight end — will be among several players at his position to attend the Tight End University this summer.

What is it? It’s a pro tight end summit created by star TEs Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers, and Greg Olsen, who recently retired from the league.

The group will meet in Nashville, Tennessee, this summer and work on skills at an elite level. This camp mimics the Pass Rush Summit organized by Denver Broncos’ star Von Miller the past several years. The Raiders attended the summit last year in a virtual form.
Here is an updated list — with Waller’s name on it — showing just how many star tight ends are attending the event in Nashville.
Some TE'S joining per @NBCSports #Raiders Darren Waller, #Lions TJ Hockenson, #Falcons Kyle Pitts, #Ravens Mark Andrews, #Dolphins Mike Gesicki, #Packers Robert Tonyan, #Broncos Noah Fant, #Eagles Zach Ertz, #Bears Cole Kmet, #Patriots Jonnu Smith, Eric Ebron, David Njoku

Waller is among the best players at his position so he absolutely belongs there. Only Kelce with 202 has more catches among tight ends than Waller’s 197 receptions in the past two seasons combined.
