Raiders poll: Very early thoughts on 2022 NFL draft

What position should Las Vegas target in the first round when the draft is in their home city?

With the 2021 NFL draft freshly in the books, naturally, it’s time to look way ahead to next year’s draft.

Yes, the premise of this post is extremely premature and things will change.

But right now, projecting the future, I want to know what position do you think will be the Las Vegas Raiders’ target areas for the first round when they host the 2022 NFL Draft in their home city. We have no idea where the team will draft and what their biggest needs will be a year from now.

Last May, who could have predicted Trent Brown would flame out in Las Vegas so quickly and the Raiders would need to use their first-round pick to replace him?

With all that in mind, let’s try to figure where the Raiders might be considering using their top pick in 2022. I will list every position and you can have at it.

Full disclosure: My pick is defensive tackle because they have none under contact for the 2022.

Have fun and thanks for playing along.
