The Julio Jones trade talks are picking up and some people around the NFL think the Atlanta Falcons could trade the star wide receiver as soon as this week.
And it appears a new favorite may be emerging. ESPN is reporting the Seattle Seahawks are making a push for Jones.
The Falcons continue to field calls from teams interested in trading for Julio Jones. The Seahawks have had discussions about a possible trade with Atlanta, per sources. In fact, QB Russell Wilson & Julio Jones have spoken to discuss the possibility of playing together.

The Las Vegas Raiders have also been connected to the Jones trade talks. So unless — and until — he is traded elsewhere, we need to keep tabs on all of the Jones’ developments in this community. Of course, today is June 1 so the Falcons will have an easier time trading Jones because of salary-cap reasons.
Pro Football Talk reported that Jones may want a new contract from his new team. He has more than $38 million remaining over the next three seasons on his current deal.
If he wants even more money then that should be a non-starter for the Raiders. Jones is 32 and dealt with injuries last season. I have long thought the Raiders should pass on him. But of course, I don’t make the decisions around here.
