2:09 p.m.: This is another killer for the Derek Carr haters.


June 29

2:22 p.m.: The Indianapolis Colts have been cleared to play in front of a full stadium this season. That means the entire NFL has been cleared to resume to normalcy in 2021. Yahoo.


June 23

11:20 a.m.: Circle March 16, 2022 on your calendar. NFL free agency starts and the Raiders should be loaded with cap room. It’s never too early to get excited.


June 22

6:30 p.m.: Well, this is something.

4:15 p.m.: Via the Las Vegas Review Journal, Raiders’ quarterback Derek Carr has made a statement on Carl Nassib:

1:45 p.m.: The NFL has matched Carl Nassib’s donation to the Trevor Project. This man is doing great work in a short period of time.

12:56 p.m.: If there was any thoughts, that Carl Nassib’s decision to come out as gay without public support, digest this: It’s terrific.

11:39 a.m.: You can learn more about the Trevor Project here. It’s the foundation Raiders’ defensive end Carl Nassib is supporting as he announced he has come out as gay. It’s a worthy cause to support Nassib as he makes NFL history, Oh, and how cool is this?

10:23 a.m.: The NFL is doing a cool thing for potential general managers.


June 17

11:53 a.m.: K.J. Wright is still available. He played for new Raiders’ defensive coordinator Gus Bradley in Seattle and Las Vegas could use some depth at linebacker.

9:03 a.m.: The Raider Nation hopes the Madden Curse is alive in 2021.


June 16

8:40 a.m.: Kolton Miller is on the field. He didn’t practice Tuesday.

8:23 a.m.: The Raiders are in the middle of their second day of minicamp practice. Expect this to be the last practice day. The team will meet Thursday and be excused for vacation until they report for training camp July 27.


June 15

8:56 a.m.: Update:

8:37 a.m.: Here is a list of five players who are not on the field during the first day of the minicamp. It’s likely most of these reasons are injury related in some form. Until we hear otherwise, I wouldn’t get too worried about any of these missing players, though.


June 14

12:47 p.m.: Pass-rusher Danielle Hunter will remain with the Minnesota Vikings. There was trade speculation and he was connected to the Raiders.

9:48 a.m.: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who visited the Raiders earlier this offseason, is trying to hook up with the Carolina Panthers.

10:32 a.m.: This will be really cool.

7:02 a.m.: Bad news on the injury front for an AFC West foe and for Kyle Long’s comeback trail. Son of Howie is hurt. He visited the Raiders this offseason.


June 9

9:14 a.m.: Will the Raiders soon play in Germany. Surely, ti would be a road game.

8:47 a.m.: Aaron Rodgers is now officially a hold out from the Green Bay Packers mandatory minicamp. We’ll see what the next step is.

1:29 p.m.: The Raiders have officially re-signed tackle Sam Young.

11:29 a.m.: The expectations for rookie Raiders’ safety Tre’von Moehrig are high.


June 4

9:42 a.m.: CBS Sports reports that perhaps Arizona pass-rusher Chandler Jones could soon be available. He’d look great in the Silver and Black.

1:22 p.m.: The Raiders are one of several teams looking at CFL pass catcher Jevon Cottoy.

11:08 a.m.: Fans can tailgate at Allegiant Stadium this season.


June 2

4:23 p.m.: The Raiders are reportedly adding tight end Alex Ellis. He hasn’t played since 2019. He has three catches, all in 2016. He is 28. The Raiders will now have a full 90-man roster.

1:40 p.m.: An update on the players who were not at the Raiders’ voluntary OTA session Wednesday. Again, don’t get too freaked about guys missing these things.

1:31 p.m.: Some good rules caused by COVID may stick in 2021.

9:58 a.m.: Is there a new stud tight end coming to the AFC West?

9:40 a.m.: USA Today has a list of seven players who could be traded. Do any of them make sense for the Silver and Black?
