Patrick Mahomes wants his State Farm commercial buddy in the AFC West.

In an interview with Bleacher Report at his foundation’s golf tournament in Hawaii, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star quarterback was asked about his thoughts of a potential trade of Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the AFC West.

Of course, the two teams most mentioned in a potential Rodgers trade are the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos. Count Mahomes as liking this idea.

“Obviously, it’d be awesome,” Mahomes said in the interview clip. “To have that challenge ... two times a year, every single year. It would be a great, great opportunity. I mean, he’s a heck of a football player. He’s been doing it for a long time that I’ve watched play and learned a lot from. But definitely if he came to the AFC West, it would make it a little tougher for us, but we’re up to the challenge.”

Of course, a Rodgers’ trade may be unlikely — but if it were to happen, the star power in the division would be unreal.
