We are continuing our 2021 Las Vegas Raiders’ statistical prediction poll series.

Now, we are looking at the Raiders’ pass rushers. Specifically, who do you think will lead the team in sacks in 2021?

The natural favorite has to be veteran Yannick Ngakoue. That’s why the Raiders signed him to a two-year, $26 million contract in March — to be their best pass-rusher. We all know how poor the Raiders’ past rush has been in recent seasons.

Ngakoue has 45.5 sacks in five NFL season and he had eight sacks last season. The Raiders also hope the presence of Ngakoue will spark and make life easier for Maxx Crosby. He has 17 sacks in two NFL seasons. Yet, he had seven sacks last season and wore down toward the end of the because he was on the field so much.

Crosby may play less with Ngakoue in the fold. But because he should be fresh, he could have more of an impact. Our other poll options are veterans Clelin Ferrell and Carl Nassib and third-round pick Malcolm Koonce.
