Recently, NFL.com named Las Vegas Raiders’ running back Josh Jacobs as one of the best players in the league under the age of 25.
It sounds about right to me, but it also got me thinking. Is 23-year-old Jacobs the Raiders’ best players under 25?
So, I’m taking it to you. I’m going to offer some other choices in addition to Jacobs.
The only rule is the player must be 25 or younger when the Raiders open the season at home against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 13. Therefore, all players on the roster who were born after Sept. 14, 1995 are eligible.
In addition to Jacobs, my choices are: defensive end Maxx Crosby, 23; defensive end Clelin Ferrell, 24; left tackle Kolton Miller, 25; wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, 25; and cornerback Trayvon Mullen, 23.
I considered wide receiver Henry Ruggs, 22, but he hasn’t shown much yet. Still, this is a solid group.
