Silver Minings: Raiders rookies and QBs report to camp

Las Vegas rookies report for training camp with the quarterbacks.

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Ahhh, yes, the smell of football season is here!

The NFL is back with training camp starting next week. The Raiders are not taking the field until July 28, but the Rookies and QBs reported early. Check out the hype video below posted on the Las Vegas Raiders Twitter account.

All the rookies are now signed. We got a chance to see the whole draft class in the video. A class that got up and down draft grades from the media still has the potential to be a good one.

Carr himself has more to prove to the fans than the coaches. His spot is solidified for now, but the expectation is playoffs or bust.

The excitement is building to see how everything pans out in the field. The optimism is high at this time of year, and the hope that it stays that way throughout the season.
