No, this is not our Green Bay Packers community. Our friends at Acme Packing Company have you covered for those needs.
However, until he re-signs with the Packers, any Davante Adams news has must be accounted for in this community thanks to the full-court press Derek Carr will want the Las Vegas Raiders to put on his Fresno State teammate if Adams does indeed hit free agency next March.
Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst told reporters the team will continue to work with Adams on a potential deal during the season. So, there will not be any deadlines.
The Adams contract talks had been rocky. Last month, talks broke down and both sides had no interest in resuming them. However, when quarterback Aaron Rodgers (who has also has his own issues with the organization) returned, the team and Adams began to talk again.
So, the Adams’ contract talks may be a storyline that will go on well into the season. So, we may have to pay attention to our Green Bay bureau for a bit longer.
