August 29

1:12 p.m.: The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the Raiders, who are banged up at linebacker, still has interest in Seattle free-agent K.J. Wright, but money could be an issue. He recently visited with the team.
12:58 p.m.: Former Raiders’ controller Araxie Grant has denied doing any wrongdoing, according to the Sports Business Journal.
8:55 a.m.: Geno Atkins, who has been connected to the Raiders for a long time, is starting to visit teams. On the surface, the Raiders seem like they are set at defensive tackle, though.
Former #Bengals All-Pro and Pro Bowl DT Geno Atkins is visiting the #Seahawks today, per his agency @_SportsTrust. Fully cleared from surgery that short-circuited last season, Atkins could be big-time addition to Seattle’s D-line.

August 21 (Game day, baby)
12:23 p.m.: Well, this is something. Looks like the Raiders will have quite the advantage on special teams tonight.
The Rams have placed punters Corey Bojorquez and Johnny Hekker on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced.
— Lindsey Thiry (@LindseyThiry) August 21, 2021
That leaves them without a punter in tonight's preseason game vs. the Raiders.
August 20
2:19 P.M.: It looks like Raiders’ starting linebacker Nicholas Morrow could be out for a couple of weeks after getting hurt Thursday. Perhaps a K.J. Wright addition is looming? The news, via the Las Vegas Review-Journal, on guard Richie Incognito, who was also hurt Thursday in a practice with the Rams, seems better.
Just an FYI on @Raiders Nicholas Morrow and Richie Incognito. Word is Morrow could be facing a multiple-week recovery. Incognito looks to be a much less significant situation.
— Vincent Bonsignore (@VinnyBonsignore) August 20, 2021

9:42 a.m.: Free-agent linebacker K.J. Wright came in as the No. 67 best player in the NFL. He recently visited the Raiders. Seems like a pretty good value at this point, right?
There’s no way it should have taken 10 years for KJ to make the top 100 lol. Also, it’s wild KJ is on here and is still a free agent. pic.twitter.com/e01hE9GAXT

— The #Titans gave backup QB Matt Barkley a 1-year, $1.1M deal.
10:20 a.m.: The quarterback market has been reset and the Raiders and Derek Carr are watching. But because Carr is now in his 30s, I doubt he gets super close to this deal in his next contract.

8:28 a.m.: This is something worth paying attention to. All these departures are no longer a coincidence.

— Jason Cole (@JasonCole62) August 5, 2021
