Two days out from Monday night football, the Las Vegas Raiders released their final injury report. With fans wondering if Richie Incognito would suit up, they found out Saturday he will be out Week 1.

Incognito is a loss for the Raiders, and having three young offensive linemen vs. the Baltimore Ravens defense is a concern. They are one of the best teams for blitzes and stunts that confuse veteran offensive linemen.

Now steps in John Simpson, who was near horrific Week 2 and 3 of 2020 but bounced back late in the season. Versus the Miami Dolphins, who also use exotic blitzes, Simpson finished with an 85 passing grade on PFF. Josh Jacobs finished with a 5.1 YPC during his two starts. There is upside with Simpson, and we will find out if he’s ready to reach it early on.

Other injury news

Ravens will be without Derek Wolfe for the Monday night matchup. Wolfe is dealing with back and hip issues that leave him sidelined. Jimmy Smith is questionable for an already beaten-down secondary.

Roderick Teamer will be doubtful for the opener. The player who snuck onto the team will not see action unless he heals up in the next few days.
