UPDATE 12:14 p.m. PT

Derek Carr is back in the game and currently leading the Raiders’ offense down the field to start the fourth quarter. His ankle is taped up but hasn’t seemed to bother him on his first few drives since returning.

PREVIOUSLY:

After Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw a touchdown pass to tight end Foster Moreau to take a 16-7 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the celebration was short-lived.

Carr was rolled up on after the play and was on the ground for a while. He eventually got up and walked off under his own power, though a little gingerly.

It’s being reported as an ankle and foot injury, and he got it taped up on the sideline. Ever since he’s been up and active with his teammates on the sideline so it doesn’t appear he’ll miss any game time. Though, we will keep you informed if anything changes between now and when the Raiders take the field again.

Las Vegas’ official Twitter account shared that Carr is probable to return.

Nathan Peterman is the backup quarterback option with Marcus Mariota going on injured reserve with a quad injury earlier this week.
