Continuing a whirlwind three days of roster moves, the Las Vegas Raiders — as expected — put four players on the injured reserve and added their replacements.
We have re-signed free agents Derek Carrier and Dallin Leavitt and signed free agent Jermaine Eluemunor.

None of these moves were overly surprising. Linebackers Nicholas Morrow (foot) and Javin White (knee), running back Jalen Richard (foot) and cornerback Keisean Nixon (leg) were all either hurt during training camp practices or in preseason games. They were all expected to miss time at the start of the season. All four players must be out for at least three games. When they return, another player will have to be removed from the 53-man roster.
The Raiders replaced the four injured players with the return of tight end Derek Carrier and safety Dallin Leavitt (who were both cut Tuesday) and the signing of backup tackle Jermaine Eluemunor. He started eight games for New England at right tackle last season. He has 11 NFL starts in four seasons and he is decent backup protection. They are also signing former Seattle linebacker K.J. Wright to fill the 53-man roster.
