Silver Minings: Allegiant offering Raiders fan package travel deals

There’s a reason why it’s called Raider Nation, the Las Vegas Raiders’ fanbase not only spans multiple states but also multiple countries and continents. That means some of the most passionate and biggest Raider fans often have to travel to attend home games.

So, Allegiant Airlines is launching flight packages to Las Vegas this football season that also include hotel accommodations and tickets to the game.

Mick Akers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal was the first to report this information, and a breakdown of the packages Allegiant is offering is listed below:

Kickoff Package

• Upper-Level Seats
• Selection of hotel stay at a 3+ star hotel
• Roundtrip Flights
• Seat Selection, Carry On Bag, Checked Bag, Priority Boarding
• Starts at $749.00 per person

First Down Package

• Lower Level or End Zone Seats
• Selection of hotel stay at a 4+ star hotel
• Roundtrip Flights
• Seat Selection, Carry On Bag, Checked Bag, Priority Boarding
• Starts at $819.00 per person

Touchdown Package

• Field-level seats near midfield
• Selection of hotel stay at a 5-star hotel
• Roundtrip Flights
• Seat Selection, Carry On Bag, Checked Bag, Priority Boarding
• Starts at $2,479.00 per person

There are a few other important notes about the packages you should be aware of as well.

The number of travelers must be the same as the number of tickets to the game, meaning you can’t add on extra game tickets without also purchasing extra boarding passes. No one-way flights are allowed - roundtrip only - and it’s a two-night minimum at the hotels.

Tickets will be distributed through Ticketmaster, which is pretty standard for NFL games nowadays. Of course, the Raiders COVID-19 vaccination requirement for any fans over the age of 12 will still apply to get into the stadium.

All-in-all, this is a pretty good bang for your buck if you live out of state and are looking to go a game, in my opinion. On Ticketmaster right now, seats in Section 224 - second level, end zone - start at $375 for the Monday Night season opener so for about $450 more, your flight and two nights in the hotel are covered. Plus, it’s Vegas so just hit the tables and make your money back...
