Well, if you didn’t expect a rough start to the game week, then here it is. The Las Vegas Raiders recently added plenty of depth at linebacker, and it was time to make a few tough decisions.
The decision ended up as a blow to the Raiders draft ego. Tom Pelissaro of the NFL Network reports that the Raiders are waiving former third-round pick, Tanner Muse.

Muse was a third-round pick out of Clemson in 2020. Missed his entire rookie season because of a toe injury, but took starter reps throughout camp and was a core special teamer.
The Raiders will for sure be the talk of the Monday news cycle. Their draft in recent years has been highly critiqued. Now with this move, it adds to even more scrutiny than ever before.
Two of the three third-round picks not on the roster from 2020 is never a good look. It is going to be a long day for Raiders fans.
