Offseason Depth Chart - Offense

QB

  • Derek Carr
  • Free Agents - Marcus Mariota

Thoughts: Barring some miraculous trade I'd expect Carr to be back but we will need to add a new backup whether that is through the draft or via Free Agency.

RB

  • Josh Jacobs
  • Kenyan Drake
  • Free Agents - Jalen Richard, Payton Barber

Thoughts: It wouldn't be a terrible idea to keep Richard due to his ability in the passing game (especially pass protection) but also wouldn't mind seeing a day 3 pick used to bring in a younger back to mold.

WR

  • Hunter Renfrow
  • Bryan Edwards
  • Tyron Johnson
  • Free Agents - Zay Jones, Desean Jackson

Thoughts: We are going to need to add a weapon on the outside to pair with Waller and Renfrow in the passing game. Seems like there are some great options in the draft as well as some big names in Free Agency. I'd expect the Raiders to make a run at someone in Free Agency but also address the issue on day 1 or 2 of the draft.

TE

  • Darren Waller
  • Foster Moreau
  • Free Agents - Derek Carrier, Nick Bowers (ERFA)

Thoughts: We are pretty set here. Moreau didn't have the break out season I expected but is a solid backup to Waller. I could see a UDFA added or to keep Bowers around.

OT

  • Kolton Miller
  • Jackson Barton
  • Free Agents - Brandon Parker

Thoughts: This is probably the biggest hole on the offense. A new RT is an absolute must this offseason unless a new staff thinks Leatherwood can slide back over. Denzelle Good has filled in at OT in the past when needed but something needs done here.

OG

  • John Simpson
  • Alex Leatherwood
  • Denzelle Good
  • Free Agents - Jermaine Eluemunor, Jordan Simmons

Thoughts: With Good back next season this unit isn't terrible. We also have Cotton for depth but would need to see some major improvement out of both Simpson and Leatherwood with the new coaching staff.

C

  • Andre James
  • Free Agents - Nick Martin

Thoughts: James improved as the season went along and will keep the starting job. A versatile depth piece that can also fill in at OG would be a solid add.

Overall the biggest issues on offense are at RT and WR. Fixing those two spots would make this a very strong unit overall
