Raiders cut tracker 2022: News and rumors on cutdown day

The NFL deadline for teams to get down to the initial 53-man rosters is at 1 p.m. PT Tuesday. Teams are starting the process early and the Las Vegas Raiders could make cuts as soon as today.

August 31

2:49 p.m.: Kyler Fackrell was cut off the injured reserve. He was expected to be a contributor before being hurt early in training camp. He signed a one-year deal with the Raiders.


August 30

3:52 p.m.: The Raiders have announced their initial 53-man roster. Check it out here.

2:28 It seems like some undrafted rookies made the Las Vegas roster.

12:10 p.m.: A linebacker is on the move.

12:07 p.m.: More surprises and another 2021 Week 1 starter is on the move, the Raiders traded Trayvon Mullen to the Cardinals.

10:56 a.m.: A possible target on the offensive line. He fits the system and he played in Chicago under Raiders’ assistant GM Champ Kelly.

9:55 a.m.: A young O-lineman is out.

9:36 a.m.: Another vet free-agent addition, safety Matthias Farley, is out as well.

9:24 a.m.: An early reported cut of the day for the Raiders is an unexpected one. ESPN says cornerback Darius Phillips is getting cut. He played pretty well in the preseason. This could bode well for both Amik Robertson and Sam Webb.

7:05 a.m.: Lynn Bowden, who the Raiders traded months after taking him in the third round two years ago, is now out in Miami.
