The Las Vegas Raiders have had an extremely easy stretch of the schedule, though it gets tougher when they play at the Detroit Lions on Monday night).

But the schedule, which lightens in early November and then get tough right before Thanksgiving, has allowed the Raiders to get back in the AFC playoff conversation.

Will it last? Well, According to The Action Network, the answer is probably no. The site recently conducted a supercomputer simulation of the rest of the 2023 NFL season. The result isn’t get for the Raiders.

It projects the Silver and Black to win 7.8 games. That, of course, would result in a 7-10 season. The projection gives them just over a 20 percent chance of of making the playoffs.

The game, of course, is played on the field and not a computer and there are many unknowns to unfold, so who knows. However, if Josh McDaniels’ teams turns in a 7-10 season after a 6-11 campaign last season would you find that to be true progress?

Let us know what you think.
