It appears the Las Vegas Raiders may be getting a key boost to their offense Sunday when they host the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in a crucial AFC West game. Kickoff is set for 1:25 p.m. PT at Allegiant Stadium.
Las Vegas interim head coach Antonio Pierce said Monday standout left tackle Kolton Miller is “close” to being able to play and that he is hopeful Miller returns to play against the Chiefs.
Miller missed the past two games, a win against the New York Jets and a loss at the Miami Dolphins with a shoulder injury. He was replaced by Jermaine Eluemunor.
Miller missed practice last Wednesday, but practiced Thursday and Friday on a limited basis. He will see what he can do Wednesday. Getting Miller back in time to face the strong Chiefs’ defense would be a big help.
The other key Las Vegas player dealing with an injury is safety Marcus Epps. He left Sunday’s game in Miami with a neck injury and didn’t return.
