The Las Vegas Raiders may be starting a full-fledge coaching search in less than seven weeks, although interim head coach Antonio Pierce very well could emerge after a search as a candidate.

Still, if Raiders owner Mark Davis is, indeed, open to finding an outside candidate, one intriguing name to keep an eye on is Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh, about to serve the final game of a Big Ten suspension after a sign stealing scandal, reportedly has interest in coaching the Raiders in 2024.

The Athletic recently reported that the Raiders and Chicago Bears (he played there) are two potential jobs he would have interest in and there may be others.

Davis has had interest in Harbaugh in the past and he admires Harbaugh, a former Raiders’ assistant.

There are reasons why to think Harbaugh would be a good get for the Raiders because he has won at every level. But there are some negatives that would come along with him as well.

What do you think? Is hiring Harbaugh a good or bad idea for the Raiders?
