You all know I’m a sucker for Raiders history. So, anytime we get the chance to discuss and dig in the greats in the history of the Silver and Black, I’m all in.

So, this week’s Silver and Black Pride Tuesday Community Question is right up my alley. It was what was your favorite jersey in all-time team history?

We got a great selection of choices and some fun stories and memories as well and that’s what this is all about.

Here are some of your responses:

I've worn... and continue to wear... Tyrone Wheatley's jersey for nearly 2 decades to every game I attend.
TW embodies an attitude and work ethic that everyone who plays for a team... whether sport or business... should hope to emulate.
Tyrone Wheatleys Mom
Tim Brown, without a doubt.
FFS...It has to be #75
Back in 1971 a buddy I knew during my first year in college, his brother worked in the PR department of the New England Patriots...when the Raiders went to Schaeffer Stadium he got me a game jersey from rookie (#31) Jack Tatum and signed by him. In my stupidity, I wore it later that year to a New Year's Eve party and in a moment of blissful intoxication, I gave it to a girl...never saw her or the signed jersey again.
For style points, it's got to be
Exiled Raider
Isn't it obvious from the avatar? Plunkett's 16, in home black.
Big Dog McJ
Easy, the same number I've had for about 2 1/2-3 decades, the greatest wr ever, "TOUCHDOWN" Tim Brown, #81 baby
Also have the great #75, signed, never worn...that one stays behind glass

Fun stuff, all.

These are great thoughts. Thank you all.

My answer? You know me:
