As we all wake up and realize that really did happen, it’s time to digest just how odd and unique the Las Vegas Raiders’ lopsided victory over the Los Angeles Chargers was on Thursday night.

63-21.

It never happened in NFL history. That’s right, Just Scorigami Baby. The fine folks at Scorigami celebrated the Raiders’ single-game record for points scored in their storied franchise as the 1,083 unique final score game in league history.

That’s right no NFL game had ever finished 63-21 until Thursday night. It’s fitting because there was plenty of weirdness in this game. A recap of the goofiness:

  • Four days earlier, the Raiders were shutout 3-0 in an all-time low NFL scoring fest.
  • It was the most points by an NFL team the game after getting shutout in 89 years according to ESPN.
  • The were 12 touchdowns in the game with no field goals.
  • The Raiders’ last two scores come on defensive touchdowns.
  • The Raiders had previously scored score 21 or more points twice this season. They were up 21-0 in the first quarter Thursday night.
  • The Raiders had scored a total of 46 points in the past four games.
  • The Raiders had nine touchdowns Thursday. They had a total of seven in the past five games.
  • The Raiders’ previous season high for points was 30. The Raiders, whose previous franchise high for points was 59 against Denver in 2010, led 42-0 at halftime.
  • The over/under set by our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook was 34.5. It was more than doubled.

What an unforgettable night capped of with a Scorigami. Embrace the weirdness.
