Eagles-Seahawks: Open thread and gambling picks

Lots of playoff implications on the line tonight

Philadelphia Eagles vs Seattle Seahawks
Jason Kelce vs. Seahawks 2020
Set Number: X163470

The Week 15 edition of Monday Night Football has a lot of playoff implications on the line as the Philadelphia Eagles head west to take on the Seattle Seahawks. With the Dallas Cowboys’ loss yesterday, the Eagles re-took the lead in the NFC East and the No. 2 seed in the conference but need a win to stay in that spot. Meanwhile, the Seahawks need a win to keep pace in the NFC Wild Card race as they’re currently on the outside looking in.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. PT and the game will air on ESPN. For my gambling folks, DraftKings Sportsbook is offering lines and prop bets for tonight’s game as the spread, total and moneylines are listed below.

  • Spread: PHI -3.5
  • O/U: 45
  • PHI ML: -198
  • SEA ML: +164

For the injury report, Philadelphia has ruled three players out; linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee), guard Cam Jurgens (pectoral) and cornerback Darius Slay (knee). However, the biggest news is that quarterback Jalen Hurts (illness) is questionable as he’s reportedly been very sick recently.

Meanwhile, Seattle hasn’t ruled anyone out but the following players are questionable; safety Jamal Adams (knee), linebacker Nick Bellore (knee), wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge (ribs), quarterback Geno Smith (groin) and cornerback Devon Witherspoon (hip). However, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport said on Good Morning Football that Smith is a “longshot” to play.

According to The Weather Channel, the forecast in the Emerald City calls for 45 degrees, light winds and a 70 percent chance of rain.
