We get to watch a couple of old friends tonight on Thursday Night Football as Derek Carr, Dennis Allen and the New Orleans Saints get Week 16 started with a matchup against the Los Angeles Rams that has several playoff implications on the line. The Saints are in a battle for the NFC South crown while the Rams are fighting for one of two NFC Wild Card spots.

Kickoff is at 5:15 p.m. PT and the game will air on Amazon Prime. For my gambling folks, DraftKings Sportsbook offers lines and prop bets for tonight’s action as the spread, total and moneylines are listed below.

  • Spread: LAR -4
  • O/U: 45
  • LAR ML: -205
  • NO ML: +170

For the injury report, the Saints have ruled the following players out; defensive end Isaiah Foskey (quadricep), cornerback Lonnie Johnson (knee), offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk (knee) and defensive end Payton Turner (toe). Running back Kendre Miller (ankle) is questionable. It’s also worth noting that cornerback Marshon Lattimore (ankle) and wide receiver Michael Thomas (knee) are still on injured reserve.

Meanwhile, the Rams are much healthier going into the contest as cornerback Tre Tomlinson (hamstring) is the only player ruled out and guard Joe Noteboom (foot) is the only questionable player.

As the Raiders learned in 2021, SoFi Stadium technically isn’t a dome since the sides are open and games are susceptible to lighting delays, but the rain won’t impact the contest with the covering. That being said, The Weather Channel is forecasting thunderstorms in the area from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PT.
