The biggest question hovering over the Las Vegas Raiders at the moment is will owner Mark Davis decide to bring back interim head coach Antonio Pierce for the 2024 season.

The subject will continue to be delved into often in the coming weeks. This week, we asked our great community members what they think Davis should do in a poll.

We broke the poll into three options:

  • Give Pierce the job.
  • Find someone better.
  • Wait until after the season to decide.

In a sign of patience, most of our poll takers want Davis to wait until the end of the season making his call on Pierce. In a poll with 754 votes cast, 401 voters (53 percent) want Davis to wait. A total of 331 voters (44 percent) think Pierce has already proven he deserves the job. Just 22 voters (3 percent) already believe Pierce isn’t the guy,

I think the voters got this right. There’s three games remaining. Let’s see how Pierce, who is 3-3 as the Raiders’ coach, finishing the season before deciding.

Of course, a win Monday at Kansas City would go a long way to making Davis lean toward Pierce.
