Tis the season for NFL predictions.

Our Saturday tradition of picking Las Vegas Raiders games has a holiday twist this week as we prepare for the Raiders’ key AFC West game at the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. PT.

The 6-8 Raiders have around a 50 percent chance of making the playoffs if they win their final three games. It’s iffy, but they’re alive.

The Raiders are difficult to figure these days. They entered Week 15 on a three-game losing streak and four days after losing 3-0 home to the Minnesota Vikings. Then, of course, came the historic 63-21 win over the Chargers.

What Raiders’ offense will show up at Arrowhead Stadium? The one that had seven touchdowns in five games under Antonio Pierce or the the team has scored 63 overall points in their last game?

I think this game will be competitive, but we know the Raiders’ history against Patrick Mahomes and at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs’ offense isn’t the same and neither is the Raiders’ defense. But I think the home team wins a close, good game.

Chief 23, Raiders 17.

Now, it’s your turn.
