The Las Vegas Raiders’ offense will be without standout running back Josh Jacobs at the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday (10 a.m. PT kickoff) as they try to keep their faint playoff hopes alive.

Jacobs is inactive Monday with a quad and an illness. He did not play in a Week 15 63-21 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Second-year running back Zamir White is expected to start for the second straight game. He had 69 yards on 17 carries last week.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas left tackle Kolton Miller is active, but ESPN reported Monday morning that he will likely be more of an emergency option in the game behind tackles Jermaine Eluemunor and Thayer Munford. were listed as questionable on the injury report. Miller missed four of the past five games with a shoulder injury. Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce had said earlier in the week he expected both would play.

Cornerback Jack Jones is active. He was listed as questionable with a knee injury.

Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Michael Mayer was ruled out Saturday with a toe injury that kept him out of practice all week. Mayer has 27 catches for 304 yards and two touchdowns this season. Expect Austin Hooper to play for him.
