Just getting over the 2023 Draft, countless media & fan hours have been spent offering analysis and opinions on who got what right, wrong, value, reached etc. over their precious draft capital.
However, having looked back on the 2020 Draft class and how many 5th Year options were exercised, one has to wonder how valuable these picks are.
Of the 32 1st round selections in 2020, just 13 have had their 5th year options (Pay day) picked up.
That means 19 other picks have not panned out as hoped or expected.
So does this throw shade on the Draft's importance or value?
