Just like that Santa Clara DA files charges against Aldon Smith
Just minutes after the Raiders made the signing of Aldon Smith official, the news came out that the Santa Clara DA has filed charges against him for DUI, hit and run, and vandalism. All charges are misdemeanors, but with Smith's five prior arrests, it would be plenty to yield a lengthy suspension from the league. His arraignment is set for October 6. The Raiders have four games before then.
