Earlier in the week, the NFL said that they wouldn’t be suspending Gabe Jackson following his altercation last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. To no surprise, though, he was fined $12,500 for unnecessary roughness.
In case you missed the play last Sunday, here’s what happened.
You’re unable to see the pull play and what really transpired, but referee Scott Novak explained in a pool report that Jackson stepped on a player’s shoulder.
The Raiders are lucky that Jackson wasn’t hit with a suspension, as they desperately need him to try and pull off the victory over Cleveland today.
