What. A. Finish.
All hope was lost. The Raiders were on the verge of handing the Jets their first win of the season. Then, Derek Carr to Henry Ruggs happened.

The Raiders were close to scoring with under two minutes remaining. They went for it on 4th down, turning the ball over back to the Jets. With two timeouts, the Raiders were still barely in it. They stuffed New York, used their timeouts, and got the ball back with just under 40 seconds remaining.
On 3rd and 10, they needed 45 yards in about 13 seconds. They likely had a maximum of two plays left in order to pull off the miracle. All they needed was one, as Carr connected with the rookie Ruggs for the biggest touchdown of his career.
Wow.
What a game. What a play. What a finish. The Raiders win, and they’re still alive in the playoff hunt.
Heading home with a final score of 31-28, the Raiders host the Indianapolis Colts next week.
