The Raiders find themselves in a very interesting spot for the NFL Draft. They have only six draft picks, which certainly isn’t a lot of capital come draft night. As of right now, they are currently slated to pick 17th in the first round of the draft.
So, I propose this question to you, Raider nation. What should the team do?
Is there a player who you think would be a perfect fit, but doubt they fall to the Raiders at 17? If so, do you think they should trade up? With their limited draft capital, it would certainly cost them, but it could be worth it if they were to take a player who they believe can become a superstar.
As I mentioned earlier, since they have only six picks total, should they potentially move back and acquire some addition draft assets that could give them more depth in the draft?
Or are you perfectly content with sticking at 17, and taking the best player available? As we’ve seen, there’s a chance the Raiders can become very active during the draft, so they don’t necessarily have to be active on night one.
